Flag Football

     On Saturday October 7, 2006 our chapter met on the field of A.I. Root Middle School for an afternoon of flag football.  Everyone in attendance had a blast chasing the pig skin, but the surprise of the day had to be the play of Dad Marshall who after double hip replacement ran for two touchdowns.

     Well we wrapped up another good month for our chapter.  We had a lot of activities including the start of our canned food drive for the Day of Comfort, Flag football, Father/Son bowling, Sweetheart Ball, and Painesville's Haunted Ballroom Dance, so, if you didn't have fun last month then I encourage you to get off your butt and get out to our activities.  We have District Archery and a sleepover already planned and if there's something you want to see our chapter do just let me know.

     I am glad to report that Medina Chapter has raised $400.00 from working at the Donut Hut. Meridian Sun Lodge has also given us the first payment from the Steak Dinner. We have also been asked to help with Medina Lodge's Installation Dinner on Saturday December 2, 2006.

     Yeah, bobbin' for apples after our meeting was cool, but not as cool as the fact that we had just finished initiating three more new members bringing our total this term to 7, and I know of at least one more petition coming in, so keep up the good work and keep sharing your DeMolay experience with your friends.

District Bowling by: Dad Shuler

     District bowling is well into the season and MEDINA still ROCKS!  Yes, we are in the lead and bowling well.  We need to finish strong and bring home the trophy again this year!

     Father/Son bowling was on October 22 and there were several fathers and sons from Medina Chapter.  Everyone had a great time bowling, eating and cutting up with each other!

State Flag Football

     This Months state Event is Flag Football it will be held on the 4th of the month in Marietta, OH. Registration Begins at 11:00 am and goes until 12:30. Make sure to bring your permission forms (click here to print them off). the cost is 5 dollars and be sure to bring extra for food the games should be over around 5:00. For directions Click Here. Once again if you do not bring your permission form you will not be able to play so remember to bring them and have fun.
